Great Moments in Television

If you hadn’t guessed already, I watch a LOT of television these days. Partly it’s because I currently have eleven shows that I watch on a weekly basis (that is, “Mad Men,” “How I Met Your Mother,” “The Big Bang Theory,” “America’s Next Top Model,” “Glee,” “Bones,” “The Office,” “Community,” “Grey’s Anatomy,” “Project Runway,” “Dollhouse,” and, starting next week, “30 Rock”!), but mostly it’s because I work from home much of the time, and tend to keep the TV on while I do my research. Over the past few weeks, I’ve been jotting down a few the best things I’ve heard on TV, and what follows is that list:

FBI Agent: “So, is she your Yoko Ono?”
Suspect: “What is that, a Bible reference?”
– heard on: “Bones”

“You can’t believe everything you read on the Internet. That’s how World War I got started!”
– heard on: a Playstation 3 commercial

“Every moment of your life is an opportunity for fashion!”
– heard on: “Glee”

A man goes on a job interview. On the drive home, he finds out that he was hired for the job when he receives a text message that reads: “Ur in.”
– seen on “True Life: I Hate My Tattoos”
